Drug-Herb Interactions - Course 9
Course Overview
Asthma is one of the most common conditions in the population. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is the third leading cause of death in the United States. Add in allergies and the common cold and flu, and it is practically impossible to avoid patients who are or will be on drugs to treat these conditions. This seminar will examine drugs to treat respiratory diseases including those listed here as well as antitussives and expectorants. We will be exploring these diseases in addition to the drug functions, mechanisms of actions, adverse drug reactions, red flags, and herb-drug and acupuncture-drug interactions for each type of drug. Join us for this informative and relevant seminar.Course Objectives
