Course Overview
In Jingshen module 3 we will explore the 'Metal phase' in Chinese Medical Pediatrics. In this module you will learn how to identify patterns of respiratory and skin disorders and understand treatment approaches to conditions such as colds, flus, asthma, eczema. The intention of this module is to provide the clinician with a strong foundation in understanding the unique role of the lung/skin in maintaining mind-body balance. Special pediatric guest lecturer Galli Stoffman MD will introduce the fundamentals of managing Childhood Trauma.Course Objectives
- Learners will have a deep understanding of the metal system in Chinese Medicine and its applications in clinical practice
- Learners will be able to assess and treat common respiratory conditions, like tonsilitis, asthma, etc.
- Learners will be able to assess and treat common dermatology conditions like eczema, hives, etc.
