Headaches constitute one of the most common patient complaints as about 70% of people have experienced headaches and about 15-20% suffer regularly from migraines. Although acupuncture has been proven one of the best therapy methods, still the Chinese diagnosis and treatment remains at times a dilemma for the practitioner, as it involves, quite frequently a combination of patterns.Course Objectives
- The energetics of the head: overview of channels; head and neck points.
- Physio-pathology and diagnosis of headaches.
- Treatment principles.
- External headaches: classification, diagnosis and treatment.
- Internal headaches: classification, diagnosis and treatment.
