Gesundheit und Fitness im Alter - zwischen Wunsch und Wirklichkeit können Welten liegen. Dabei kann die eigene Küche ein Gesundheitsbrunnen sein, wenn TCM-Ernährung- und Heilkräuterwissen mit modernen Erkenntnissen verknüpft werden.

Körperlich und geistig fit sein, aktiv den Lebensabend genießen - das Wunschbild vieler Menschen für den Lebensabend.Die Beschwerden im Alter können jedoch vielfältig und der Alltag erheblich getrübt sein: Schlafstörungen mit quälenden Nächten ohne Erholung, während Müdigkeit den Tag bestimmt. Unangenehme Trockenheitssymptome werden als Alterserscheinung bagatellisiert. Verdauungs- und Blasenprobleme halten von schönen Aktivitäten ab. Gewichtsprobleme werden immer größer, keine Diät scheint zu helfen. Die Liste der Beeinträchtigungen ist lang, allen gemein ist der zuweilen massive negative Einfluss auf die Lebensqualität der Betroffenen.
Hier setzt die integrative Ernährungstherapie als zentraler Baustein der Lebenspflege an. Abgestimmt auf die spezifischen Bedürfnisse reifer Menschen gilt es die Mitte zu stärken: Die bedarfsgerechte Bereitstellung von Qi und Blut, die Unterstützung der Dynamik sowie die Trennung von Klarem und Trübem stehen im Fokus.
