Course Overview
Traditional Chinese Medicine encompasses numerous centuries of empirical and clinical herbal formulae and formulations, both within the context of TCM as a professional medicine as well as a folk medicine.In this short recording, we will explore the uses of placenta; the processing, preparation and administration of placenta and its uses and contraindications clinically. We will explore cross-cultural attitudes and lore of the placenta as well as current scientific research of the potential benefits of placentophagy (consumption of placenta), which on many levels is very much in its initial stages of research.

- Explore the clinical application of placenta within different areas of medicine such as dermatology, neurology, gynecology, respirology, immunology, gynecology, etc.
