Course Overview
This learning module is part one in a 12-part series that presents the basic theories, concepts, and methods of treatment for Korean Hand Therapy (KHT). All 12 modules can be viewed in two days, or over time individually.Module 1, ‘Overview and Development of KHT,’ presents an introduction to KHT: Korean Hand Therapy including the historical development, applications, benefits, limitations, and scientific studies validating KHT.
Attendees will have a thorough understanding of KHT basics upon taking all of the courses in this series.
Course Objectives
- Students will have an understanding of the history of KHT
- Students will learn the unique areas of application for KHT
- Students will have an overview of the benefits of KHT for both patients and practitioners
- Students will get further information on studies that have been conducted validating the effects of KHT
- Students will get an overview of the concept of the body as a hologram with unlimited correspondence patterns

0 hrs - 15 minIntroduction and history of KHT
15 min - 30 minUnique areas for applying KHT will be covered; Features and benefits of using KHT will be explored
30 min - 45 minOverview of treatment options using KHT will be outlined
45 min - 1 hrsProtocols for using methods to stimulate will be explored
1 hrs - 1.25 hrsThe concept of the body as a hologram will be presented. An exploration of structural relationships will be outlined
1.25 hrs - 1.5 hrsWestern Research will be outlined. Recorded Q&A and case histories
